What this test covers

The digital SAT runs as four modules, two in each subject. This test covers the first module of each, which is where every candidate begins and where the questions are drawn from the same pool regardless of ability. The second modules are adaptive, and they follow here shortly.

SAT questions written from scratch

Nothing is taken from official College Board material. Released papers are used to calibrate format and difficulty and for nothing else. Every question, passage and chart on this site is original, and reading material is either public domain or written for the purpose.

Distractors are built from real errors rather than invented. The median where the question asked for the mean. The value of 5x reported as the value of x. The complement of an angle given where the supplement was wanted.

Before you start

Set aside 92 minutes. A calculator is permitted throughout the Math section on the real test, and the reference sheet of formulas is provided, so use both here. Seven of the Math questions ask you to type a number rather than choose from options.

If you close the tab, the session is kept and you can return to it at the same address, but the clock keeps running.
