Rules

  • · Five passage sets: two short stories (thirteen and eleven questions), two poems (nine and thirteen questions) and one scene from a play (nine questions)
  • · Questions quote the words they ask about and name the paragraph or stanza
  • · Every passage is original, written for this test
  • · +1 correct · 0 skipped · 0 wrong
  • · Move freely between questions within a section

What you get afterwards

The number of questions you got right, the percentage, a breakdown by section and a full review. Each explanation gives the reasoning and then names the most tempting wrong answer and says why it fails. There is no AP score of 1 to 5: free response is not included and the College Board publishes no cut scores for its forms.

Before you start

Set aside 60 minutes without interruption. If you close the tab, the session is kept and you can return to it at the same address, but the clock keeps running, as it would in the exam room.
