It is a hybrid exam. The multiple-choice section is taken in the Bluebook app and the free-response answers are handwritten in a paper booklet. This practice test simulates the multiple-choice section only.
Can I use a calculator and a formula sheet on AP Biology?
Yes. A four-function or scientific calculator is allowed, and the College Board supplies an equations and formulas sheet covering chi-square, Hardy-Weinberg, water potential, rates, diversity and more. This practice test prints every formula a question needs in the question itself.
Which units does AP Biology multiple choice cover?
Eight units, from Chemistry of Life (8-11%) to Natural Selection (13-20%), the largest. This practice test follows the published weights: 6 to 10 questions per unit, with five sets of four questions built on experiments and data tables.
